5.9 Magnitude earthquake strikes Italy

At least four people have been killed and up to 50 others injured in a 5.9-magnitude earthquake near the northern Italian city of Bologna.

The USGS said that the quake was centered 22 miles (35km) north-north-west of Bologna at a relatively shallow depth of 6.3 miles (10km) and stuck at 4am local time.
